The 6″ self manoeuvring cutter suction dredger is used for maintenance dredging jobs in small canals and small basins. The 6″ SM CSD-150 is the smallest one in the series and used for the smallest jobs. However the ladder can be extended to dredge up to a depth of 6.5 meter. This machine is very easy to transport on one truck with a total weight of 10 mT. The small and easy to operate dredger is a good model to start-up a new dredging company. Optionally the dredger can be equipped with hydraulic spuds which enable the operator to work in narrow waterways without blocking the traffic. These 6″ SM CSD 150 were delivered to many Dutch contractors who work in the world famous Dutch small waterways. Even though the dredger is small there is enough space to easily perform maintenance. Also the operator cabin feels spacious considering the size of the dredger.
